We had a situation arise recently where our Marketing department sent an email out to all of our customers but then realized a link they provided in an email points to the wrong document. Instead of sending out a retraction email to all of our customers and look unprofessional, we were hoping to be able to go to the File record and upload the correct file on that existing record and keep the URL the same so that the link in the email (already sent) would then automatically retrieve the correct document when opened by a customer. Apparently this is not possible today as uploading a new file results in a brand new URL. Need to have the ability to upload a new file on an existing File record and keep the URL from changing.
