Movax

Nothing to do with progress - but has anyone heard of a computer system called movax? If so please let me know where i can find out more about it.

Hi,

Just a guess...

It may be a DIGITAL Microvax

It is an old platform made by digital running VMS, an old version of unix.

ho ho VMS was not an early version of UNIX it was DEC's own proprietary OS which was far superior to unix, unfortunately it died. As is the way of the world the best doesn't always rise to the top. :blue:
