Maybe an old problem

I am working with Progress V 8.1A under Windows XP in a single-user mode, and i want to send an output to a dot printer like this:

output to printer.

put "test".

output close.

the problem is that i always get 2 copies of this. How come ????

It works fine for me, try putting this at the top of your program and check the settings on the printer, maybe it's setup for 2 copies.

Thanks for your advice, but i does not work yet with the System-dialog printer-setup.
I did not have this problem runnig the same program under win 98 (always single-user) , but it seems that under XP it throw a page command and prints again the same output.
