Item cost maintenance problem

Hi Everyone,

Appreciate if someone could help me out with MFG PRO QAD
We have change a "M" item part previously manufactured in hourse recently to a "P" item which we now purchase.

However we have done a cost roll up initially which we can't seem to get rid off "lower level" GL STD cost.

Eg: ITEM "ABC"
under "M" - cost roll up was $50.00 now under "P" it's $40.00

How do I get rid of the "lower level" cost or make it to $0.00 so that i only have an "upper level" cost of $40.00

Appreciate if someone could help me out.

Appreciate your reply but are you trying to tell me I have to delete the BOM totally and do a cost roll-up?

I still need the BOM available though to be in place. Is there any other method?

thanks tried that and had the end effective date set to the date prior then did a cost roll up and it work.
