What does large key index mean?????

This applies to indexes containing fields of type character. There was a limit in previous versions of Progress/OpenEdge (Somewhere around 160 bytes - if I remember correctly) on index keys which had been lifted in recent version. In order to use larger keys with a migrated database you must enable it - it doesn't get enable automatically. You can check it with the proutil describe whether large index keys are enabled or not.
