Index Check reports Corruption

Hi there,

We ran an index check the other night which reported 4 system errors. However a couple of other error messages seen around the time have left me confused about the outcome.
Although the index check showed a 2805 error it also showed the following:

Database has not been properly closed
Index check utility did not complete successfully

Could this suggest that outside influences (backup, virus scan) had hold of the database and could have interrupted the check. If this was the case would it be possible that the corruption identified is inaccurate?
We are using Openedge 10.1C and Windows Server 2003.
Any help would be much appreciated.
