Morning Folks,
OE: v10.2A
OS: RedHat Linux
during a recent run of the idxcheck utility, we came across some indexing problems:
"System Error: Index 1862 (PUB.<table>.<index>): couldn't find key <01>> recid 26515069.
We fixed them by de-activating the offending index, and doing a dictionary dump and load, and re-building the index.
There were 3 indices with the same problem, each of them containing only a logical field, which we'd recently added with an incremental df. This would seem like the likely candidate for causing the issue.
If anyone can offer other likely causes or suggest reasons as to why the incremental should have caused such problems, it'd be very helpful.
TIA.
