How To Read Sql Server Db And Tables

Hi to all.
I use Progress 10.2.B version in a Character Gui environment ..
Our software is working on AIX IBM OS-System.

We'd like to read data directly on a Windows Server ,, SQL SERVER 2014 Bi version.
In this server we have a DB about Logistic software ...

What is the best solution ???

I read about DATA SERVER we have not (I think we'd have to buy...)
Others different products about this kind of question ???

Data Server is an additional license as you suspect, but it's well worth it. It makes life so much easier than any other solution.
