How to change language of logs ?

Hello,

we have Progress 8.3E. We bought it several years ago in Poland and since then it is working in polish language. Of course its logs are also in polish language :-(
Is it possible somehow to switch them to english language ?

Depends entirely on the application. One designed for internationalization could have a configuration setting and an alternate message file and you would be all set. But, one which was simply written in Polish is written in Polish and would require translation to work in English. Ask the vendor.

But I am talking about database logs - not the application logs.
I would like to switch database logs into English language version.

Then you just need to switch the PROMSGS file.
