Question How can I reset user "mfg" (admin) on MFG/PRO application?

Hi all,

Iam using eb2.1 SP5 with QAD 2007 application on Linux 4.5
I can startup all services but...
For long time I do not use QAD, I forget passwd "mfg" user
How can I get it back?
Pls help

There's no need to bump your threads. I'm sure someone will be along in time to help you out. There's not a huge amount of activity here so people tend to pop on from time to time, not necessarily daily.

1. Are you able to log in QAD 2007 application using any alternate ID ?
If yes then go to 36.3.1 User Maintenance and enter the userid mfg. Change the flag "Update Password" to yes and you will be prompted to enter a new password.

2. IF not then i guess you might need to blank out the usr_passwd field in usr_mstr table to "blank" for mfg userid. I think it will ask you to change the password in next logon depending on your security controls.
