How can I connect in Java Progress Databases?

How can I connect in Java Progress Databases?

I use the Java RE 1.3 and want to connect to an own Progress Database over JDBC, but I get only errors like "Driver not found" or "Class not found". But I installed the Classes for the Progress JDBC Driver correctly.

Who can help?
