I am having application which is running with different different companies. Administrator has rights to active / inactive company which he wants.

Now administrator can set a company to inactive but can still play with the screens like update & save.

So when a company is inactive, must not be able to do anything in that company.

You don't talk about anything that would help us to give you an advise!

  • What Progress/OpenEdge version are you talking about?
  • Do you talk about an application purchased from a third party vs. one you've developed yourself?
  • How is the "multi-company" feature implemented in the applciation?
  • Do you talk about the multi-tenancy feature that was introduced in the database in one of the latest releases of OpenEdge 10?
