I assume that the "ST" in "GST" is an abbreviation for "Sales Tax."

What does the "G" in "GST" stand for?

Under which QAD MFG/Pro menu is "GST" found?

Goods and Services Tax - GST

I found GST listed in the foreign tax section of the QAD online support materials.
GST stands for "Goods and Services Tax" and is the Canadian version of a value-added tax.

GST is applied whenever a Canadian supplier sells to a Canadian manufacturer. The manufacturer then passes along the GST (Goods and Services Tax) to his Canadian customer.

QAD is able to calculate and track GST, .... but it's not real obvious or clear how to go about it. In order for GST to work smoothly, the taxable flag must be set to "yes" in the pt_mstr, pl_mstr, vd_mstr, po_mstr and pod_det. Once everything's set up correctly, it seems to work fine.

Thanks for you kind assistance everybody. I did a LOT of reading to uncover this little jewel amongst the many pages of documented QAD materials available.
