The compensation for this position includes a base salary, 401k, Government holidays, and health/dental insurance. This is a career position, not a contract job.
Required experience:
- 2+ years Progress 4GL or related GUI development tool (Powerbuilder/VB)
- Professional attitude
- Client/server technology experience
- Must have permission to work in the U.S.
Preferred experience:
- HTML or WebSpeed programming
- Familiar with government aquisitioning process
- Degree in CS, MIS or BA is a plus, but not required
- Capable of organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Have strong desire to achieve and accept progressive responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Enhance and extend our application environment (ver 8) using Progress
tools.
- Design/implement new information systems
- Prepare technical documentation and support documents
- Continually investigates new technologies
All applicants must have good interpersonal skills as this position entails providing frequent technical support to our clients via either telephone or on-site calls. US Citizenship/permission to work in the country required.
