Do you have the AutoStart check box checked in the Configuration section of the OpenEdge Explorer? If not, select the EDIT button, check the Autostart: check box and then select SAVE. Now when ever the AdminServer starts so will the SonicMQ adapter. As for a command-line to start the Sonic adapter: $DLC/bin/adaptman -name sonicMQ1 -start For help with the command: $DLC/bin/adaptman -help Let me know if you have more questions, Roy
