With respect to: I don't receive notifications that a new message has been written in the thread (I believe that feature was turned off) I get emails now as do many others. I believe it was originally turned on automatically for everyone, but many members of the Community felt that this was too much like spam. The email feature is now operating but you need to "opt in".
