IMHO you should open a support call. They behavior that you are showing is not normal. Should you decide to pursue it here in the forums it would be helpful to specify the flavor and version of Linux. The output of "ipcs -a" just prior to a crash and immediately after would be interesting. The output of "sysctl kernel.sem" would be interesting.
