NUMA is a good thought, but I don't believe that applies. IBM's description of process affinity and memory location (local, near, far) are here: www.ibm.com/.../local_near_far_memory_part_2_virtual_machine_cpu_memory_lay_out3 Our system shows only one memory and CPU domain, like so: lssrad REF1 SRAD MEM CPU 0 0 58409.62 0-15 I think I can say NUMA isn't an issue.
