I am assuming it was a similar issue to requiring that the defaultSchema in the connection parameter needing to be "PUB" (that is, you can't assume the default schema namespace if you want to access tables that are accessible from ABL. For these you need PUB schema. This was mentioned for DataDirect Cloud in community.progress.com/.../8369.aspx ("'Table / View / Synonym not found' when using PUB schema from OpenEdge")
