Hi, It is an issue. Thanks for catching it 
If linked lookup field has many relationship and when it is rendered as picklist then it is showing all the releated records instead of showing records are which are related to main lookup. As a workaround, render linked lookup as selector, then it is working fine. We will raise an issue and let you once it is fixed. Thanks and Regards, Chandu.
