Progress database is perfectly taking care for itself and doesn't require any promon continuous monitoring to sustain it. If you need to monitor its "activities" for any other reasons (i.e. proactively watch its vital signs as a part of your business continuity policy), then you could come up with the list of promon activity screens, write a script and run it periodically. Or, even better, you can upgrade and use OpenEdge Management as a more complete solution for your needs.
