Hi Peter, The primary use of this Tomcat is to be used for deploying and testing OpenEdge REST/Mobile Applications developed using Progress Developer Studio. Since, a OpenEdge Mobile/REST developer could be creating a number of OE Web applications and continuously publishing it to this Tomcat, I would thus recommend not to use it for production deployments. Also, the Production Tomcat may require quite a different set of configuration than a version meant for development. I know that this Tomcat gets installed along with Progress Developer’s studio. Well, with that said I would seek recommendation from others in the group. (copying Mike J in case he wants to add or correct anything) Thanks, Navneet From: Peter van Dam [mailto:bounce-pdam@community.progress.com] Sent: 27 May 2014 PM 04:02 To: TU.OE.Deployment@community.progress.com Subject: RE: Configuring AIA RE: Configuring AIA Reply by Peter van Dam Hi Navneet, Thank you for your reply. You are saying 'this tomcat is used for REST application development'. Are you saying it is not intended for DEPLOYING REST, AIA and Web services? It seems to be installed with production database/AppServer licenses as well. -peter Stop receiving emails on this subject. Flag this post as spam/abuse.
