file-info:full-pathname doesn't respond

Hey,

is there a method to cath a non-existing directory?
've tried it with the file-info:full-pathname = ? function, however my progress session doesn't respond anymore.
(example: if the path refers to server that has been renamed or moved, then the file-info statement blocks:confused:)
 
I think that you will find that any reference from any tool to the removed device is also hanging.

Try opening it with Windows Explorer for instance. It probably blocks too.
