Export help!

Hello,

We've got a customer who has a system using a Progress 6.2m database. This system was first deployed in 1993. Their license (runtime only) expired 10 years ago. We are trying to export their data but cannot with an expired runtime license. Unfortunately the development license is expensive so we are looking to pay someone who can export our data to a csv format. If anyone can help us, please let me know. Thanks!

Thanks for your reply, the database is on DOS and is roughly 6Mb. Any help your can provide would be greatly appreciated.
 
Ouch! That's seriously old.

Is there anyone there who has any experience with or knowledge of Progress?

Do you know what sort of Progress license it is?

Can you get to the data dictionary? Or to the Progress editor?
 
Yeah, it's pretty ancient. Unfortunately, none of us have any experience with Progress. When we called tech support, they told us it was a run-time license only so we don't have the editor or tools that we might otherwise have.

What they said was we have two options: buy the license or find someone who can export the data for us. The license isn't cheap so we are looking to pay someone who does have a license to export the data for us.
