DRP - Distribution Requirement Planning.
This module helps you plan and meet the demand between different warehouses. The requirements is generated as demand from the site that needs the items and its exact number required and passed on to the site that has the sufficient supply. The sites are known as supply site and demand site.
DRP is run before running MRP so that demand for other sites are also included in the MRP and orders can be placed accordingly.
This is a short explanation I can provide on the terminology. But for more, you need to go through some good book on Supply chain or Setup docs of QAD should also help.
