Desperately Seeking Progress 8.2B ODBC Driver

I'm searching for the ODBC driver for any Progress 8.2B database running on Windows OS or Linux platforms. Does anyone have any idea where I can get this from? It's urgent!!!

Hi,

You may use the DataDirect ODBC driver. You can download an evaluation version of the "DataDirect Connect for ODBC 4.0 for Progress SQL89 only" at http://www.datadirect.com/download/index.ssp

As for the configuration, consult Solution 17204, "How to setup a SQL-89 ODBC connection using the OIB/OID" on the Progress web site.

I know it can also be possible with the OpenLink ODBC driver (www.openlinksw.com), but I have never tested it.

If you are using 32 bit Progress, Datadirect have one which I already use it and it's called Squelink. This ODBC driver works only with 32 bit. If you are looking for 64 bit go to openlinksw.com and down load their eval. copy. I tryied it and it works fine.
