I've started to work with Progress 9.1D, our DB is running good and I had to learn some basic 4GL sentences to run some programs and extract info.

I would like to know where can I find information about Database Administration for novices (I already visited the Progress site), but I would like to find really "4 dummies" materials, consequently I would like to find some manuals for developers too.

I think Progress is very good and in my country (Mexico) this database is not know for many people.

The Progress documentation is actually pretty good. I'd start there. You should have a CD with the e-docs on it. The PDF docs are probably the best ones to start with.
