Database creation

I Know absolutelly nothing about Progress so hear me out.

I think the program I'm trying to install is wrongly creating the database, basically what it does is this
He Has 6 initial files like this
serv_ini.vrs
serv_ini.db
serv_ini.st
serv_ini.d1
serv_ini.b1
serv_ini.lg

Then he uses PROCOPY on this files.
My question is this what exactly does this do???

PROCOPY copies a database.

From your description I don't see any reason to think that there is a problem. So I'm thinking that you must have additional information available to you like, perhaps, an error message?

BTW, questions about the database are probably best asked in the "Database Admin" forum :awink:
