Creating DSN for OenEdge Database

I have a database in OpenEdge 11.1. I need to create application in ASP.Net and fetch data from OpenEdge.
I am trying to create a DSN on Window XP machine.
When testing connection I am getting following error message:

"odbc progress openedge wire protocol driver socket closed"

Is there any related information in the database log file?
Did you setup the SQL engine?
Did you setup SQL security in the OpenEdge database?

I am new to OpenEdge. I am doing testing on how to use OpenEdge with .Net.
I have just installed the OpenEdge. I have not configured anything. I tried to find out how to configure SQL connection, but did not find anything.
Could you please guide me how to these configurations?
