Corticon logs roll over everyday. For e.g. SERVER logs you have 20140122.log, 20140123.log etc. Corticon should have the ability to roll over Corticon logs based on size of the log file and date At loglevel= INFO, the logs are verbose and they fill up quickly. If the size of the file is huge ( in GB ) then this file is not manageable and cannot be opened in an editor for review. So it would be good to have a Corticon configuration file or property to set a limit on the size of the log file. For e.g.: lets say roll over after 10 MB to new file and still maintain the date 20140122.log ( 10 MB ) 20140122.log(1) (10 MB) 20140122.log(2) (5 MB ) 20140123.log and so on.... Currently Corticon just rolls over by Date to create one single log file for the day. There should be a way to configure Corticon to create a new log once the current log exceeds a specific size.
