Connecting a website to a Progress Database

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone could provide me with help or tips on how/where I could connect a Progress Database to a website. We have an Apache/Tomcat webserver and run in a Unix environment. We want to make a website that displays this data (will later be shown graphically, but for the time being anything at all would be good!). I am reletively new to all this and have been stuck for several days, figured I would give these boards a shot! :)

Thanks,

Erik Poliquin.

Thanks for the quick reply, I was looking around the site you directed me to and found some pretty interesting stuff. However, my next question is since we are only reading and displaying and not doing any transactions or updates, do I still need to go through Webspeed at all?

Rather depends upon whether you need "real time" data. Could always generate the pages via "standard 4GL" and simply upload them to the web server each night.

For "real time" reporting WebSpeed will likely be your way forward.
