Hello,
I need to find out if there are any command line tools to run a canned report and direct the output to a share on the network.
The Mfg Pro client is installed on several windows boxes and utilizes a progress database on a HP Unix system.
There is a report named 30.12.1 that I need to run on a weekly basis.
I am hoping that I could run this as a chron job on the unix server or as a scheduled process on a win 2003 server.
The mfg pro application is a windows gui application.
This report is then imported into an access database.
Ideally, I'd like to create a database view and link to it from access via a odbc driver, but I haven't been given that level of permissions.
I am quite new to MFG Pro so my knowledge is limited, but I do have many years of sql and other database dev experience.
thanks all.
