Citrix and Japanese issue

Hi all,
I have a Citrix server that runs on English environment by default.
due to our Japanese clients, I created a Jap database (DBE, marked as shift-jis). then I installed Japanese language on the Citrix.
now the Japanese clients can type in Jpanese into the db, but when trying to retrieve the information thay get ?.

any ideas anyone??

It's been a long time sience I did DBE. Make sure the client startup parameters -cpstream and -cpinternal are undefined so it doesn't do code conversion.
