Can I use dummy table as dual of "oracle"

Dear,all

I'm a new in Progress.

I want to use dummy table in SQL as follows

Select date from dual:

Dual table is not real table, that is dummy table.

I checked Progress SQL reference and Progress Knowledge base,
but I could not get any infomation about DUAL table.

Can anybody advise me?
