Batch Orders

I'm interested in creating an order from an external source like an order data file. Is there something standard in SX.e 6.0 that polls for an order data file and then creates the order? If yes, what's the order data file's format and layout and what's the process name? Do I call OEEBU?

I have created orders manually by importing an EXCEL spreadsheet.

If you use EDI you can set up EDEPP to run every hour or every minute or however often you need it to run so that it can pick up an EDI order file (an 850 inbound) and then automatically run OEEBU when it's done reading in the file so that it will create the orders.
