I have an old Linux Red Hat with Progress 9.1D and Xponent 3.2 I believe. I need to move this system on a different Network with a different IP Address. I am OK on the Red Hat side, but not too knowledgeable in Progress and Xponent. This system is an old Legacy system and will be decommissioned in 2 years. In the time being, it needs to stay alive but absolutely needs to move.

Can anyone please tell me what needs to be done?

Do you need to do anything else than change the IP address in Linux? I am sure you have to?

You will need to shutdown the progress components down (database, admin server, ...) before you switch the IP address.

After that just update the -H parameter (hostname) used for client connections if there are any.
