Allow expression-based views to work with detailed search in portals

Currently, if a portal page contains a detailed search component, you cannot use any views that employ expression filters (ie: 1 AND 2 OR 3). When attempting to do so, the portal users receive the following error: "Expression based view cannot add filters in the Portal". I see two possible options here... 1) The ideal solution is to simply update the Rollbase platform to make expression-based views work with detailed search components in the portal. That is, the detailed search further filters the results created by the expression-based view. 2) If, for some technical reason, option #1 cannot be done, then I think Rollbase should somehow warn admins or disallow expression-based views to be viewable by Portal User and Portal Guest roles. In our organization, we have a non-technical person monitoring the portal and creating views for customers as needed. This person doesn't know or understand that expression-based views cannot be used, and therefore views are pushed to the portal where our customers receive errors. It isn't a very professional look for us and a bad user experience for our customer.
