We have multiple admin server installs across many unix servers. At times the admin server (11.3.2) will hang. Others services like OEM and app servers can still be active. When this happens we will not get alerts from that server. We need to know when the admin server is hung so we can correct as quickly as possible. So ... We are looking to check the heartbeat of an admin server running on one unix box from another unix box on a periodic basis. To that end we are wondering if we could have the proadsv command enhanced to accept a -H or -host parameter so that we can run something like: proadsv -host remote.host.net -port 20932 -query And get the standard response when run locally: "AdminServer is alive. (8545)"
