Problems with the Upgrade

I just installed another update, the reported Warning when posting/replying is still an open issue though. One notable improvement is you can have multiple attachments on a single post now. There's a "manage attachment" link that displays a window where you can upload attachments or delete them.

    550 Relaying is Prohibited"

This actually isn't the code, but a configuration problem with sendmail (or whatever mta you are using to send email). Check out this page for an explaination and how to fix: http://www.sendmail.org/~ca/email/relayingdenied.html

    Problems with the Upgrade

Thanks, yes I've reported this already... seems to be a compatability problem between the wysiwyg editor code and PHP version 4.3.

    Problems with the Upgrade

I just installed another round of updates. The biggest change you'll see from this is an almost completely re-written search engine. This should be more powerful, faster, and hopefully easier to use then the old one. The downside is I am now rebuilding the search index for the board, so the...

    Problems with the Upgrade

I would, but the developers aren't keeping a change log at this point since this hasn't been released to the public yet.... once it starts up a public beta process, I'm sure they will package releases with a list of what's been fixed, and I'll post them.

    Problems with the Upgrade

They are still working out more of the bugs, and I'm updating the scripts a couple times a week with bugs fixes. I've identified what needs to be changed to exclude the PEG/Usenet forums from new posts, but probably won't be able to make that change until the software stabilizes and I'm...

    Problems with the Upgrade

No just any new problems you come across... I'm keeping a list of reported problems to check off when I see they've been fixed. I know the reply error message is still an issue at this point.

    Problems with the Upgrade

I just installed a large number of program changes last night, so keep your eyes open for any bugs. Hopefully this will fix a few issues, although I know there are still some others outstanding. Thanks :)

    Problems with the Upgrade

Thanks... that seems to be a bug when using the wysiwyg editor or reply along with running the newest version of PHP (4.3). I've reported this issue.

    Problems with the Upgrade

Yup, it was difficult to read... I've extended the page table, so the text and links at the bottom are now in an off-white area, making them much easier to see and read :)

    Problems with the Upgrade

Ok, that page is back now, it's available at http://www.progresstalk.com/home.php or by clicking on the ProgressTalk.com Home link at the bottom of every page.

    Problems with the Upgrade

Actually I am planning on implementing both of those features again, probably in the next week or so. I know both of those were popular features.

    PEG and Xenophobia

Yes I was banned from PEG a few years back (I was even a paid member at the time). It would be a very simple process to have posts made here in the PEG category to be emailed over to the correct email list, however I am sure those emails would be blocked.

    Problems with the Upgrade

Ok, the quick reply is now fixed so that the "Quote Message in Reply" is off by default...

    Problems with the Upgrade

Ok thanks... I've reported the problem to the developers

    Problems with the Upgrade

Yes that's actually a good idea, since I'd prefer the quoting for quick replies to be off as well.... I'll see what I can do about this ;)

New Features in Upgrade to vBulletin Version 3

Here's a compiled full features list from the completed todo list. This is by no means exhaustive, and should not be regarded as perfectly accurate: not everything was recorded in the todo and some things were changed too. Added Features: --to the user interface General Quick...

    Problems with the Upgrade

Thanks, I'll report this one, I know this used to work. I can't seem to duplicate this one. Can you go to the reply screen and hit CTRL-F5 to force a refresh of all the page elements, including the JavaScript code (which sometimes gets older versions cached). If you still have...
