Moving Classic AppServer Applications to the Progress® Application Server for OpenEdge®

Hi,

I am doing the conversion from progress classic appserver to PASOE. During this process I am using the below command to generate the OE Merge file.

paspropconv

--ubrokerPropsFile /usr1/demo/classic/ubroker.properties

--ubrokerName UBroker.AS.app_customername_prod

--pasoeAppName myProdInstance

Since my Openedge version is 11.7.1 , I am getting the error as "paspropconv is not recognized as internal or external command." During my analysis I understand that paspropconv will work only from the version 11.7.3 onward. Can anyone please let me know how can I generate the OE merge file in Openedge 11.7.1.
If any command exist, please let me know the syntax as well.

Regards,
jelbin.

11.7.1, while technically supported, is retired, so that does change the extent of the support.

Note: the OpenEdge Life Cycle changed in April 2020. Details here: Progress Customer Community

Also, my experience is that when using PASOE, you want to be on as recent a release as possible. It's a relatively new and rapidly-evolving product.

Thanks Rob. Let me check after changing my version.
