Question So how would you use Progress' new acquisition modulus.io.?

As the glue ... or gloo (look up WhoGloo.com ) between a wide variety of devices or i/o sessions and business logic. E.g., one of the demos I saw was having screen A open a browser including several records, highlighting one of those records, updating that record in screen B, and having the change appear in screen A.

That's sounds interesting, a push update to the clients. That would be very handy in a *near-real time application.
 
Check out some of the presentations from PUG Challenge Americas. Julian, for example, talked about his system which uses Node.js on Modulus, twitter, email, etc., etc. for all kinds of different technologies to communicate.
