So, I have inherited an old Webclient application built in 11.7. We are now looking into upgrading it to OE 12.8.
To distribute it an .msi was built in Visual Studio including installation instructions for both the Progress WebClient and our app. It is including Webclient files with destination folders program files/Progress Software/WebClient and our files with destination folder program files/Progress Software/WebClientApps .
Also, there are files as prowcini.exe, prowcam.exe and some -dll-files, with destination folder program files/common files/Progress Software/WebClient.
These files I don't know where they came from, and I can't find them anywhere in the dlc folders.
1. Do I still need the files and where can I get them?
or
2. Is there any change in ways of distribute installation files in 12.8? What is the easiest way to produce installation files needed for the application that we now make available on our website for customers to access? I need instructions for beginners
Kind Regards,
