Currently there is no Teradata Wire Protocol Driver. The ODBC Driver which is currently offered is dependent on several Teradata libraries which need to be installed. In the Teradata Tools and Utilities (TTU) newer installers the support libraries and the ODBC drivers are all packaged in one install. Users need to install Teradata's driver via TTU in order to use the Progress DataDirect Teradata Driver. Because of this dependency it is very difficult to provide a compelling case why someone should use your embedded driver over Teradata's. Please consider a wire protocol Teradata driver or embed the support libraries with the current driver so an additional install is no longer necessary. Thank you.
