Summary
This position is responsible for project management activities related
to the implementation and company roll-out of software solutions that
support Pentair's swimming pool and spa business. Candidate must
understand business processes and how to relate those processes to
integrated ERP software, QAD's Mfg/Pro. Requires strong knowledge in
at least one discipline (manufacturing, distribution, finance) of ERP
systems and a well rounded knowledge of all aspects. This is a "hands on"
position with responsibility for documentation of procedures and policies
as they relate to applications software. Problem solving ability and
successful team facilitation is a must. Candidate will receive broad
exposure to all areas of business through cross-functional project teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
* Carrying out the systems implementation process company-wide
ensuring disciplined, common and documented processes
* Perform user interviews and document summary proposals,
functional specifications, test plans, and implementation plans.
* Support software applications (be user expert)
* Identifying business system solutions
* Train users
* Adapting business systems to new (lean) processes
* User support - multiple locations
* Interaction with outside consultants (hardware and software)
* Other duties that may be assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities
* No direct reports
* Lead cross functional project teams
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
Education - bachelor's degree from a four year university or college.
Experience - 8-10 years of general business experience with proven
ERP implementation experience. 5-7 years of Mfg/Pro experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general written information.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written with fellow
associates as well as vendors, customers and management. Ability to
develop, document and communicate policies, processes and measurements.
Primary language English - Spanish highly beneficial.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw
valid conclusions. Needs good negotiating skills and strong logic
capabilities. Ability to take an active role in resolving conflicts
before they escalate. Ability to play a highly proactive, participative
role when working across teams, demonstrating and promoting cooperation.
