I have a character output (generated from a .i) which is being passed to a DECIMAL() function, and then stored to a decimal type of variable. The character o/p is in EU format (2,5 for two and a half). This value when put into the decimal variable via the DECIMAL function, is getting changed to 25. What can be the reason to this and what is a solution.

I have changed the required numsep numdec params in startup.pf, but that does not help.

PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!
