SQL Broker using lots of memory!

My progress 9.1c server has the ability to spawn 2 SQL brokers each allowing one connection. Problem is the the brokers use up large chunks of memory and never seem to release it. I have seen them use up to 800mb of memory. We do very little with ODBC so what can I do to keep the SQL brokers in check.
