Simplified Screen on .Net

Hello,
I'm using eB21 SP5 with .Net.

A new program ask to the user the type of item he wants to create.
Depending of his answer, I want to launch simplified screen of 1.4.1 Item Maintenance already created with default values for the item type he choose.

Is it possible ? Somebody have already done something like that ?

Hi,

That's an interesting problem. We've played around a little with simplified screens (same version & service pack as you) and faced a somewhat similar issue with Sales Order Maintenance (7.1.1). Our solution was to do this...keep the standard program "as is" and create a new program that is completely simplified (hidden frames where appropriate, default values set, fields hidden, etc). It would then be the users choice which menu option to choose based on the situation.

Good luck and I'm curious if anyone else has addressed this issue.
