Show me a Right Path to PRODATASETS

Hi Everybody,
I have just started to explore PRODATASETS. Can someone let me know where exactly PRODATASETS are to be used? Is that PRODATASETS will override the usage of temp-tables if it is more powerful. I am bit confused.

Can anyone provide me an initiative to move in a right path? If so it will be very helpful for me.

Hi,
in a Dataset you can store more than one table. Thereto you can store relations between the tables. The Datasets are equal the .net Datasets, so you can exchange your data in a simple way with the .net world. I think its a good idea to take a dataset course from progress.
