Serial controlled issue

Hi all,

Few years back a Purchase receipt was made for the quantity 3 that time that item was not lot/serial controlled.

Now, the received item needs to be shipped but now the item is lot/serial controlled.

But I am not able to do shipment getting an error message since it is lot serial controlled.

Please let me know your suggestions to solve the issue.

if your item was previously non Serial, and you had stock of 5 (w/o serial)
you cannot change it to serial controlled (QAD will not allow you)
1st, you need change your stock into seperate Serial numbers, e.g:
serial=101 QtyOH=1
serial=102 QtyOH=1
serial=103 QtyOH=1
serial=104 QtyOH=1
serial=105 QtyOH=1

then you will be able to ship it as serial (providing the serial#)
