Senior Software Engineer
Under limited supervision, design, develop and enhance software computer
programs, databases, and software documentation using advanced knowledge
of customer needs and product applications; understand and promote the
software development life cycle; lead small teams of software engineers
and perform other related work as necessary.
4 year College degree (any field) or equivalent work experience. 7+ years
software development experience. 4+ years Progress programming experience
(v7+ and GUI) and 2+ years industry (manufacturing, distribution, financial,
etc.) knowledge. Knowledge of Progress AppServer, C#, and/or Web Services
(.net or other) a plus.
